Social Studies

Social Studies – QQI Level 5

This module is designed to introduce learners to the area of sociology and social studies, to develop their understanding and awareness of social issues in their own lives and society in general. Learners will develop basic research skills and learn to recognise the complexity of social issues.

This module may be considered suitable for inclusion as a vocational elective module on the Level 5 Certificate in Community Health Services, Childcare, Nursing Studies and Community Care Awards
